He began his career as a public administrator at the Municipality of Rome immediately after studying business economics. He furthered his studies in administrative law and administrative sciences. At the Italian Stock Exchange he perfected his knowledge of financial instruments and financial markets. After his elective office, he worked for a long time at the most important Pontifical Universities as a management teacher. He has managed joint-stock companies both in Italy and abroad, as well as acting as manager of networks of companies awarded PON and POR funding under the European Union programming.

Expert in corporate finance, with particular attention to venture capital, private equity, private debt, extraordinary finance and structured finance. He is involved in the assessment of the impacts of the Basel Accords and the New European Supervision on the Italian banking system, as well as the rules on market infrastructures based on distributed ledger technology.

He carries out consultancy activities that lead him to support the definition and revision of the RAF (Risk Appetite Framework), risk governance policies, operating limits, the development of econometric models, stress tests in accordance with regulatory legislation and the corporate risk assessment process. He carries out studies, research and consultancy activities on adequate corporate organizational structures.

He is registered in the Register of Experts of the Chamber of Commerce in Banking, Securities, Mortgages and Financing. He is also registered in the Lombardy College of Experts, Experts and Consultants. He carries out consultancy activities as an Independent Senior Corporate Financial Advisor for Italian and foreign companies, providing assistance on ESG criteria, processes for the valorization of tangible and intangible assets, analysis and planning of financial needs and financial procurement solutions.

He has written over 140 specialized articles and is the author of publications, including the monographs: “ Minibond. Financial instruments for small and medium-sized enterprises ” (Aracne Editrice, 2015), “ Management for ecclesiastics ” (Edusc, 2016), “ AIM Italia for SMEs and start-ups ” (Edusc, 2020). In co-edition he published “ Minibond ” (Edusc, 2020) and with Bocconi Legal Paper he wrote in the volume “ Fintech ” (Egea, 2021). He is the Scientific Director of the “ Management and Ethical Finance ” series at Edusc (university press of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross).

He is a Commander of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, a title recognized by the Holy See and the Italian Republic. He was awarded the title of Grand Officer of the Order by the Royal House of Montenegro Petrović-Njegoš dynasty.
